“Empathy begins with understanding life from another person's perspective.”
In 2021, my eight-year-old cousin Fanta was killed due to the negligent actions of law enforcement officers, which highlighted systemic issues that demand urgent attention and reform. I am running for Sheriff to ensure that no family has to endure the pain of losing a loved one to preventable tragedies like this.
I believe my lived experiences, as well as my background as a former member of the PA National Guard, a former Police Officer, and a Special Agent with the PA Attorney General’s Office, make me qualified for the Office of Sheriff and a great asset to the Delaware County community.
My decision to run for Sheriff stems from a deep-seated desire to effect positive change within our law enforcement agencies. I believe in fostering transparent, equitable, and community-centered approaches to policing that prioritize dialogue, empathy, and collaboration.
As a candidate for Sheriff, I am committed to building trust between law enforcement and the communities we serve, addressing systemic injustices, and promoting safety and resilience for all residents.
